The course leads in sight of the Carinthean mountain panorama from Velden in front of the „Schloss am Woerthersee“ over the entire length of the lake passing the towns of Dellach, Poertschach, Maria Woerth, Reifnitz and Krumpendorf to the east bay in Klagenfurt.

Wednesday, 4 September 2024, 18 hours

The starting fee (see below) must have been credited to the account of the RV-Albatros by 6 September 2024. If this is not the case, the registration will be treated as late entry and will be charged according to this.

At 11:15 AM is the start for the Blue ribbon eights. (The Spanheimer fours will start in Velden west bay at 11 AM.)

Time gap: 10 sec.

Rowers neglecting starting order will be assigned a 2-minute time penalty.

Advice

A late entry will be charged with an additional fee of € 50.-
Registrations will only be accepted, if the starting fee has been credited.
Re-registration will be charged with an extra € 10,-

Boat storage area

Beachpark in the center of Velden directly in front of the Schlosshotel.

CAUTION:
There will be a security service in Velden during the night before the race.
Storage of boats at the risk of participating club / crew.
No legal claim on organiser in case of damage.

Starting-Numbers

Handing out of starting numbers willl take place at the chairmen's meeting at the boat storage area on the day of the regatta. Numbers will only be handed out to the cox.

Chairmen's Meeting

The chairmen's meeting for the "BlauesBand" and "Spanheimer" takes place on the day of the regatta at 10 a.m. in Velden at the boat storage area.

Participation of a crew delgate and of the cox-men is obligatory.
Regatta-Rules will be stated and handed out on paper.
Breaking those rules will result in time-penalty or disqualification.

Boat trailers

must not be parked in the club area.

Please use the reserved zones close to the club area.

Lunch

After the race the RC Albatros invites all crews for a lunch with a drink.

The cost for those are included in the starting fee.
It will be followed by the popular rowers farewell-party.

Trophy

The winning 8+ will be given the Blue Riband trophy. The winning 4+ will be given the Spanheimer throphy.

The trophy remains at RC Albatros.

Medals

Liability

Participation in the race at own risk.

The RV-Albatros is not liable for any damage, injury, acts of negligence or consequential damages.
Racing regulations have to be obeyed.
